Greg McGuffin
Managing DirectorGreg McGuffin is a Managing Director at Hudson, responsible for overseeing portfolio management of investments in residential real estate loans and residential mortgage-backed securities. In this capacity, Mr. McGuffin is responsible for formulating asset management strategies and execution of sales and financing transactions in coordination with the trading and capital markets teams. In addition, Mr. McGuffin performs fund-level portfolio management responsibilities for the investments. Mr. McGuffin has 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Hudson in 2012, Mr. McGuffin held roles in the fixed income and investment banking divisions at Merrill Lynch / Bank of America for eight years, where he executed debt, equity, and M&A transactions in addition to managing various structured products portfolios. Mr. McGuffin began his career as a certified public accountant focusing on financial institution clients.
Mr. McGuffin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the American University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
