Prior to joining Hudson in 2025, Mr. Riddell spent 15 years with Lone Star as a Senior Managing Director & Co-Head of Europe Real Estate, responsible for originating commercial real estate investments in Europe. Mr. Riddell has over 23 years of experience in the origination, execution, and financing of commercial real estate opportunities. He has been involved in the acquisition of pan-European loan portfolios, asset-backed operating companies, and direct real estate investments with a focus on the Western European markets.

Prior to joining Lone Star in 2009, Mr. Riddell spent four years working in the real estate division of Morgan Stanley Investment Bank. Mr. Riddell began his career as a lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, specializing in both mergers and acquisitions advisory and investment fund formation. A qualified solicitor, Mr. Riddell holds a Master of Arts in Law from St. Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge.
