Roberto Carrera
Managing DirectorRoberto Carrera is a Managing Director at Hudson, responsible for leading the financing efforts for commercial real estate-related investments in Europe and for sourcing, negotiating, and documenting acquisition financing and refinancing efforts. Mr. Carrera has 27 years of experience in real estate finance.
Prior to joining Hudson in 2022, Mr. Carrera was European Head of Financing at LaSalle Investment Management in Paris and Munich. He also served as a member of the board of managing directors of LaSalle’s BaFin-regulated German investment management platform. Prior to joining LaSalle, Mr. Carrera led real estate loan recoveries at PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank in Paris and spent seven years at Hypo Real Estate Bank structuring and underwriting real estate loans.
Mr. Carrera holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Business Administration (Dipl. Volkswirt and Dipl. Kaufmann) from Christian-Albrechts University Kiel. Mr. Carrera is fluent in German, English, Spanish, and French.
